Request removal of your account and all associated data

1 What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your user account and Google authentication credentials.
  • Saved preferences, settings, and custom AI prompts.
  • Summary history and generated content stored on our servers.
  • Any subscription or usage records linked to your account.
  • All personal data held in Firebase Auth and Firestore under your account.

⚠  This action is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your account and all associated data cannot be recovered. If you have an active subscription, please cancel it via Google Play before requesting deletion to avoid future charges.

2 Option 1 — From the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the app:

  1. Open the YouTube Summarizer app on your Android device.
  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) on the home screen.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account".
  4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears. Your account will be removed immediately.

3 Option 2 — Via Email Request

If you cannot access the app, send us a deletion request by email. Use the button below — it pre-fills the subject and body for you:

Or email us directly at devaskbiz@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and your account email address.

4 Processing Time

Account deletion requests submitted by email are processed within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been fully removed.

In-app deletion is processed immediately.
